One of the youngsters from the Fifth Avenue nest spent the afternoon around the Great Lawn and went to roost for the night in a tree nearby.  Both fledglings seem very mature, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they leave home soon.  They’ve provided wonderful entertainment this summer and it will be bittersweet to see them go.
